Zhejiang University National Science Park (ZJUSP) is a national university science park approved by National Science &Technology Department and National Educational Department. Based on the one-hundred-year famous research university ¡ª Zhejiang university, ZJUSP fully takes the comprehensive resource advantages such as science & technology¡¢human resource¡¢experimental equipment and the cultural atmosphere of Zhejiang University. ZJUSP is a base engaged in science & technology innovation, transfer of science & technology achievements, incubation of hi-tech enterprises, training and gathering of innovative and pioneering talents and the radiation of hi-tech industry.
- In April 2003, ZJUSP was approved as one of the first national "Experimental Supporting Unit for Technology Innovation and Small Fund Subsidization";
- In June 2003, ZJUSP ranked fourth nationwide, in the assessment by National Science &Technology Department and National Educational Department;
- In October 2003, ZJUSP was approved as one of the first "Key Science & technology Enterprise Incubators of Zhejiang Province" by the Science & Technology Department of Zhejiang Province;
- In December 2003, ZJUSP was evaluated as "The Youth Pioneering Base of Zhejiang Province" by Zhejiang Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and Zhejiang Youth Federation;
- In June 2004, ZJUSP was approved as "National Software Base Developing Area" in Hangzhou;
- In December 2004, ZJUSP was approved as "Hangzhou Science & Technology Incubator";
- In December 2005, ZJUSP was approved as "Advanced Manufacture Demonstration R&D Base of Zhejiang province".
ZJUSP provides excellent services for the enterprises in the park, such as:

At present, there are more than 400 newly registered enterprises in the park, with registered capital over 1,500,000,000, staffs over 8,000, incubation area 72,000 square meters. According to the principal of "one park, multiple locations", ZJUSP established several branches in Ningbo, Nanchang (Jiangxi Province), Binjiang (Hangzhou) etc. The park is becoming the important headstream of regional innovation, the crucial component of national innovation system and the significant symbol of Zhejiang University becoming the first-class university.
